Helena Eloise – Photography at Skin Two Halloween Ball

On October 29th, at Skin Two Halloween Ball, we present the photography of Helena Eloise. Helena graduated from Salford University with a Visual Arts BA (Hons) and worked in the music industry for Manchester’s Airtight and Tangled clubs. Her images have been published in Mix Mag and The Big Issue and her first solo exhibition took place in 2003, in Stockport, with reviews in the Stockport Express and Manchester Evening News.

Boston Fetish Fair Fleamarket

The New England Leather Association’s Fetish Fair Fleamarket began in Boston in 1992 and it’s been held twice yearly since then. The founder of the event, Cecilia Tan, has now joined forces with other activists, including Danny of Leather by Danny, to bring the FFF to other parts of the USA, including Atlanta and Charlotte.

Miss Alternative UK 2011 London, May 14th

On May 14th London’s Scala nightclub will play host to 24 pretty unconventional pin-ups and beauties with bite, as they compete to claim the title of ‘Miss Alternative UK 2011’. Judged by a panel of alt. celebrities, punctuated by burlesque, twisted cabaret and sideshow-style performances, and followed by an all-night afterparty, the live final of this fresh new modeling competition is set to be a celebration of subcultural style… and one hell of a night out! Open to any female UK resident over 18, who can confidently say she has the look, lifestyle and attitude to represent the nation’s alternative scene, the inaugural Miss Alternative UK has attracted entrants from across the country.
